Tulip Day is coming to America! On March 3, 2018 a colorful display of more than 100,000 tulips will cover Union Square in San Francisco. And you are bein invited to visit this site and to pick your own bunch of tulips.
Tulips from America
These tulips, which were planted in America, were produced from Dutch flower bulbs. Dutch traders export flower bulbs to more than 100 countries all over the world. And America is bij far the biggest export market for Dutch-grown tulip bulbs: a half billion of them every year. Besides the Dutch companies also export many other types of flower bulbs to America, such as lilies, hyacinths, daffodils, dahlia’s and gladioli.
